Cookie Policy
Last updated: 27/10/2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy applies to the GLEBA website and online store (https://mygleba.com/pt) and explains how we use cookies and similar technologies, for what purposes, and how you can manage your preferences.
The party responsible for processing personal data is GLEBA NOSSA, LDA, NIPC 514024399, with its registered office at Rua Maria Pia, Nº2-4, 1350-208 Lisbon, Portugal ("GLEBA", "we"). Contact for privacy matters: suporte@gleba-nossa.pt.
To find out how we process your personal data in general, please see our Privacy and Data Protection Policy.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, mobile phone or tablet) when you visit a website. For example, they allow us to keep items in your cart, remember your preferences, or understand how the site is used.
We also use similar technologies, which for the purposes of this Policy we treat as cookies:
● Browser local storage (local storage and session storage);
● Pixels and tags, small pieces of code that record a visit or an action (for example, a purchase) and communicate it to the respective provider;
● Tracking pixels in emails (see section 8).
In terms of duration, cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain until they expire or are deleted). In terms of origin, they can be first-party (placed by us) or third-party (placed by other entities through our website).
3. Legal framework
Storing information on your device, or accessing information already stored, is only permitted with your prior consent, except when strictly necessary to provide a service that you expressly requested (for example, maintaining the shopping cart) or to transmit a communication. This rule is set out in Law No. 41/2004, of 18 August, as currently worded.
Whenever cookies involve the processing of personal data, the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and applicable national legislation also apply.

6. Sharing with third parties and international transfers
Some analytics and marketing cookies are placed by third parties and allow them to collect data about your browsing, which they may combine with other information they already have about you. With your consent, we may share browsing data with the following partners for campaign measurement and optimization purposes:
● Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) - policies.google.com/privacy;
● Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Facebook and Instagram) - facebook.com/privacy/policy;
● TikTok Technology Limited - tiktok.com/legal/page/eea/privacy-policy;
● Klaviyo, Inc., for tracking on the website associated with our email communications (see section 8) - klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-policy;
Each of these partners processes data in accordance with their own privacy policy. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. In such cases, the transfer is based on one of the mechanisms provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR (for example, an adequacy decision by the European Commission or standard contractual clauses).
7. How to manage your preferences
7.1. On our website
On your first visit, we present a banner with the options "Accept", "Reject" and "Customize", with equal prominence. Until you make a choice, only necessary cookies are placed.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through "Cookie preferences", available in the footer of the website. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.
We store your choice for 12 months, after which we will ask you again. If you contact us about your consent, please indicate the date on which you gave it and, if applicable, the relevant identifier.
7.2. In your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or another), usually in the privacy section. Instructions vary from browser to browser.
Please note that necessary cookies are essential for functions such as the cart and the checkout process, so blocking them may prevent you from using the store. Rejecting the remaining categories does not affect browsing or purchasing.
7.3. Personalized advertising
You can also manage personalized advertising directly in the platform settings (Google, Meta, TikTok) or at www.youronlinechoices.eu.
8. Emails and newsletters
We use Klaviyo (Klaviyo, Inc.) to send newsletters and other email communications and to automate messages, such as abandoned cart reminders. Klaviyo processes your personal data on our behalf as a sub-processor.
This tool tracks your interaction in two ways:
a) In emails. Our communications contain a tracking pixel and links with an identifier, which allow us to know if the email was opened and which links you clicked. We use this information for statistical purposes and to tailor the communications we send you.
b) On our website. If you accept marketing cookies, Klaviyo places a cookie (__kla_id) on your device that associates your browsing (products viewed, items added to the cart, start of purchase) with your subscriber profile when you identify yourself, for example by subscribing to the newsletter, logging in, or clicking a link in one of our emails. It is used to send you communications related to that browsing, such as an abandoned cart reminder. If you do not accept marketing cookies, this cookie is not placed.
Legal basis and how to withdraw. We send newsletters and promotional communications with your consent, given when you subscribe, and website tracking depends on your consent to marketing cookies. You can withdraw either at any time: through the unsubscribe link in each email or in your customer account (communications), and in "Cookie preferences" in the footer of the website. Blocking the loading of remote images in your email client limits tracking in emails.
International transfers. Klaviyo is a company based in the United States, where our account data is hosted and processed. The transfer is based on Klaviyo's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, subsidiarily, on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses included in Klaviyo's data processing agreement, available at klaviyo.com/legal/data-processing-agreement. Klaviyo's list of sub-processors is at klaviyo.com/legal/subprocessors.
9. Retention
Each cookie has its own duration, indicated in the tables in section 5. You can ask us for additional information about the retention periods of data obtained through cookies under our responsibility, using the contacts provided below.
10. Your rights and complaints
As a data subject, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. These rights and the way to exercise them are described in our Privacy and Data Protection Policy.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy, notably when we start using new tools that use cookies. The date of the last update is at the top of the page. Whenever a change involves new cookies that require consent, we will ask for it again.
